CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR GRADUATING SENIORS

Kelly Dillon has just graduated in the top 4% of her class in the International Baccalaureate Program at William T. Dwyer High School where she was also an AP scholar and involved in multiple national honor societies. She will be attending the University of Florida in the fall to study Health Sciences, specifically Occupational Therapy. Kelly began dancing at the age of 3 at the Palm Beach Ballet Center, but has been dancing at Paris Ballet and Dance since she was in the 8th grade.

Ms. Dillion says, "Paris Ballet and Dance as well as Mr. Feray have provided me with an environment to learn refined and classical ballet which has led to success in not only my love for dance, but in my life."

Emill Hurmemaa has studied dance since he was a little boy. He studied at Miami City Ballet. They moved to Ballet Florida under Artistic Director Marie Hale, Dance Florida Academy, then with Colleen Smith at Palm Beach Ballet, and in Europe at Toompea Ballet School in Estonia, where he was featured.

Over the past three years, Emill has rounded off and polished his dance education at Paris Ballet and Dance. He was also accepted into the Joffrey Ballet New York Advanced Trainee Program though; he chose to continue his dance studies at Paris Ballet and Dance, which he happily considers his “home” studio. While at Paris Ballet and Dance he has danced many important roles. In 2016 he was selected by Director Jean-Hugues Feray to be the elegant Prince in Cinderella.

Now eighteen years old, and though an extremely talented and gifted dancer, he has chosen to follow his life-long dream of becoming a pilot. By the end of the November 2016 he will achieve his private license, and will continue to study to gain his commercial and multi-engine license. His plans are to join the Navy and become a jet-fighter pilot.

With all his advanced flight studies, he loves dance, and take classes. He also performs leading roles with Paris Ballet and Dance!

Sierra Alana McLaughlin began dancing at the age of four.  She received dance training at Palm Beach Ballet Center, Florida School for Dance Education, Boca Ballet Theatre, and Paris Ballet and Dance. She also studied dance at Bak Middle School of the Arts, and The Benjamin School. She received a High Gold Award at the International Dance Challenge.  She recently graduated from The Benjamin School.

She will be attending The University of Arizona and she will major in Business Marketing while continuing to pursue dance.  “I would like to thank all of my wonderful dance teachers at Paris Ballet and Dance who have inspired me as an artist and encouraged me to be the best can be,” says Ms. McLaughlin.

Yasmeen Scuderi is a graduating student who will be attending the honors college at the University of Maryland. This summer, she will be traveling with the A. James Clark School of Engineering at UMD on a trip to Berlin, Germany to study challenges of energy technology.

She has been dancing for 13 years. “Dancing at Paris Ballet and Dance has given me the technical equivalent a professional company would offer while still having a family friendly atmosphere. Huge thank you to Mr. Feray for another amazing year of ballet,” says Ms. Scuderi.
