​SUCCESSFUL WINTER INTNSIVE
Magnifque Ballet Winter Intensive was incredible on January 2 through 6, 2018. Over 50 local students as well as students from other counties and states attended the incredible five day-long event at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Classes were taught by truly world renowned teachers including Paris Ballet and Dance Director Jean-Hugues Feray, Stephanie Boublot, Olivier Pardina and the Legendary Charles Jude! Students participated in daily technique, pointe, and floor barre classes. Many also learned pas de deux/partnering and variations classes performed by the Étoiles of the Paris Opera Ballet!

At the end of the Intensive, students were able to show off what they accomplished in an impressive demonstration performance on stage in Persson Hall at the Kravis Center.

Thank you to the wonderful teachers! They were truly impressed with the hard work and dedication from all the students who attended. 

Thank you to the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts along with Tracy Butler and Miranda Hawkins in the Education Department for their endless work and everything to help make this Intensive possible. Also, thank you to Joseph J. Bucheck III for all his behind--the scenes help, photographs (on Facebook), and helping with transportation.

And thank you to Paris Ballet Director Jean-Hugues Feray for his vision and for creating this program and for bringing these amazing teachers he had the privilege to work with in the past.

Dear Everyone,
It’s hard to believe but it’s going to be a New Year. As I look back on 2017, I am amazed at all the great things we all accomplished!

I am so proud of every single student. With their commitment, they all have worked ​​very hard. It is a pleasure to watch them grow and improve!

Thank you parents and guardians who worked hard, as they made sure their children were in classes and rehearsals. Thank you all the donors and volunteers, who have gone the extra steps it takes to make a school of this quality possible.

Thank you to my expert teaching staff Idael German, Kristen Lenihan, Riselle Portuondo, Ben Slayen, Emily Schubert and Stefanie Wolfington. Thank you to Olivier Pardina, as well. They are truly incredible instructors and caring people.

Als​​o, ​thank you to my administrative staff Karen Manucy and Joseph J. Bucheck III, ​and all their extra volunteer time​​. They help ​keep the “machine running” ​while making sure all the students are well-looked after and cared for​. 

The vision is alive ​​and well​​!

​MAGNIFIQUE BALLET WINTER INTENSIVE – NEXT WEEK
Everything is set and ready to go for next week’s exciting Magnifique Ballet Intensive at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. From January 2 through January 6, 2018, students will be taught by the most prominent teachers in the dance world including the Legendary Charles Jude! What could be more exciting? Students from this incredible Intensive will be chosen to attend the Stage International de Danse d'Arcachon in the south of France!

THE NUTCRACKER OPENS THIS WEEKEND

After several appearances, and starting yesterday with daily studio run-thrus the cast of this year's production of The Nutcracker is ready to go! From dancing dolls, little mice, toy soldiers, dancing dolls, snowflakes and flowers and much more, the cast is excited to perform onstage for this wonderful yearly production of the Holiday Season!

Tickets are available online BEFORE December 8 at 3:00 PM for $30.00. After that, tickets may be purchased at the door starting one hour before curtain for $32.00.0

Wonderful performances of The Nutcracker suite today at the Gardens Mall! I am so very proud of all of you my dear students! This is why I always push you so hard! I know what you can accomplish and I see the  talent in every single one of you! Don't ever forget that I am always ​extremely proud of all of you and for ever grateful to be your teacher and Director.

A huge thank you to all the parents as well and the wonderful volunteers. Your time is so precious! And to my incredible staff, a huge Thank you. All this is extremely promising leading up to the full length production on December 9th and 10th. Love and hugs to all.

A THANKSGIVING MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
I would like to take this time to thank my staff and teachers for their hard work. Thank you to all the parents who work so hard to make sure they get their children to the studio for classes and rehearsals. Thank you to all the patrons, donors, fans, and exceptionally good friends who have always supported my dream in creating a great place for girls and boys to receive the highest quality dance| education in South Florida.

Most of all, thank you to my talented, dedicated and committed students. They are the reason we all come together and work so very hard. I am always so proud of all of them!

We are excited and looking forward to all of our bright upcoming Holiday performances including the ones at the Gardens Mall this Saturday, November 25. Also, the Auditions for Paris Ballet Winter Magnifique Intensive ​is on Sunday, November 26.

Director Jean- Hugues Feray, ​Paris Ballet and Dance and Paris Ballet Conservatory​ is extremely excited to announce the addition of Jan Hanniford and Stefanie Wolfington to the staff of teachers.

​Ms. ​Hanniford will be teaching ​on interim ​​​depending on her schedule. Mrs. Wolfington will be teaching Pre- Ballet, Level 5 and Adult Ballet.​ ​​Both are incredibly ​qualified with extensive educations.​

They are also well established with a vast experience as performers, teachers and coaches.

JAM XV OPENS TONIGHT - OCTOBER 17
Paris Ballet and Dance, and Paris Ballet Conservatory performs two works at Jupiter Academy of Music’s  JAM XV tonight at the Harriet Himmel Theatre. Director Jean-Hugues Feray’s piece entitled Mythos, will be danced to a twenty one piece string orchestra of student musicians, and teachers from the Jupiter Academy of Music. Kristen Lenihan’s work is the piano duet Mozkowaki Spanish Dance # 2 featuring Melody Sze and Jupiter Academy of Music’s own Director Sandra Baran at the keyboard.

This is the fourth year in a row to have the honor of being chosen by Ms. Baran to dance in their annual
concert to benefit Grace Notes Foundation. It is truly a wonderful event featuring talent young musician and ​dancers

​ELEVEN DANCERS AND TWENTY ONE MUSICIANS
Last night was the first rehearsal with the musicians of Jupiter Academy of Music. The studio was packed with eleven dancers and twenty one musicians to work on Director Jean-Hugues Feray’s exciting new work
Mythos. The piece (along with a second work) will be ​performed at JAM VX on October 17 at the Harriet
Himmel Theatre in West Palm Beach. The conductor is ​the President and Director of the Lighthouse Suzuki Strings Cynthia Hinkelman. Leading the violin section is Laura Mozena, artistic Director of the group. They both teach also teachers at the Jupiter Academy of Music. Also present was Alice Culbreath director of Grace Notes Foundation.

This is the fourth year Paris Ballet and Dance and Paris Ballet Conservatory has been asked to perform with
Jupiter Academy of Music in their yearly concert to benefit Grace Notes Foundation. It is a great collaboration of students of both dance and music as they work together.                    See Photos on Facebook

SALES FOR THE NUTCRACKER START OCTOBER 1
Ticket sales for the 2017 production of The Nutcracker starts at 10:00 AM on Sunday, October 1. It's a good
idea to go over the Ticket Polices beforehand to become familiar. That way, there will be no surprises.


Sales will appear as Paris Ballet and Dance on credit card statements.

Thank you to all my students who performed at the Gardens Mall yesterday. You once again all made me very proud! There was a nice positive energy! A huge thank you to everyone who attended, the unconditional dedication of our Paris Ballet families who showed one more time how supportive they are of the school.

To the incredible volunteers, Tangi Colombel, Angela Gutierrez, Christi Keavy, Michael Keavy, Erika DeOreo
and Stephanie Wofington -- a HUGE and very special thank you to you as well! You once again rocked, your
time and help means the world.

Thank you to the staff members who were there, Joseph J. Bucheck III for the incredible input and great company. AS ALWAYS, thank you to Karen Manucy who was at her other job but once again made sure that everything as ready in her very own special way that it felt she were there physically!
