DO NOT wait until the last minute, and certainly NOT on rehearsal day!
Below are buttons linking to ALL Polices regarding Studio and Theatre Rehearsals, and Costume Fittings. It is all required reading for parents when they signed the Registration Form. So, there should be no surprises here. It is HIGHLY recommended to go over them again.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

  • REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: POSTINGS- SOON!

IT IS A PRIVILEGE TO
BE ON THE STAGE

ALL ROLES
ARE IMPORTANT

Like in professional companies,
one may have the fortunate
opportunity to dance a leading role
in one production or cast, and then be
in the corps de ballet in the next show.

REHEARSALS ARE
VERY IMPORTANT!

While rehearsals are held for
each individual to learn and properly
be prepared for his or her role, they
are also held so the entire cast can
learn, work and react with each
other, and within the group or
ensemble with whom they perform
...AND actually enjoy performing what
they been working so diligently.
This is EXACTLY why
Paris Ballet and Dance
productions are so wonderful!

ALL REHEARSALS AND
COSTUME FITTINGS
ARE ABSOLUTELY - MANDATORY

...Never an "option."
Note: Wardrobe "staff" for
Paris Ballet and Dance volunteer
their time. Always be patient and
show them courtesy and respect!
Also, it is extremely rude, disrespectful
and inconsiderate to not show up or
be late for any costume fitting.

BE ON TIME!

ON-TIME MEANS -- EARLY.
in the front door, hair up, shoes on,
and ready to go for the posted time.
It does not mean arriving at the
posted time, and then getting ready.
A good rule of thumb:
If you arrive at the posted time,
you are already late.

ALL STUDENTS,
NO MATTER THEIR ROLES,

are often required to attend
rehearsals during the week -- after
class and/or during the weekday
evenings. This rule especially applies
to students in The Conservatory
or Advanced Ensemble because it is
actually part of those programs!

IF A STUDENT MISSES A
REHEARSAL,

is their personal responsibilityto
thoroughly learn what is missed,
before the cast meets again!
They should not expect the entire
cast
to
wait while time is spent teaching
them something that was taught
while they were absent.

PARIS BALLET AND DANCE
DOES EVERYTHING POSSIBLE
TO BE - ON TIME!
HOWEVER,
FOR MANY REASONS
REHEARSALS MAY RUN
OVERTIME.
Theatre rehearsals ALWAYS run
overtime.
It's always best to be
ready for it.

FOOD AND SNACKS
Good nutrition is very important.
Neatness is, as well!

Please, do not send children to
the studio with items filled with
empty calories
...Also, messy snacks which
create lots of crumbs. If a student
will be in rehearsals all day, please
send a sensible snack/lunch with them without messy rice, gravies, sauces,
OR anything with excessive odors.

NUTS OR PRODUCTS CONTAINING
NUTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING - AT ALL

.
Never EVER send flavored and sugary juices/drinks with colors which a
can
stain and create a sticky mess.
PLUS they aren't very
healthy!

KEEPING THE STUDIO CLEAN
AND NEAT IS EVERYONE'S
RESPONSIBILITY!

STUDENTS ARE ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED to cleanup after
themselves or to keep
their "area" clean - no exceptions!
They may be asked to stay after
rehearsals to either clean up or help
clean up,
even if it might not be
their own mess - no exceptions!

DO NOT BRING ANYTHING
OF VALUE TO THE STUDIO OR
THE THEATRE

Paris Ballet and Dance, the Theatre,
and any staff are not responsible
for broken, lost or stolen items.

ANY SCHEDULE OR EVENT IS
SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Please review ALL Polices
concerning Rehearsals, Costume
Fittings and While at the Theatre.
