Tommy Batchelor has been a guest artist with Paris Ballet and Dance for many performances. He originally trained with Joan Miller at Palm Beach Ballet Center. He also is a avid gymnast. After an audition, he was scooped up to play the role of Billy in the Broadway Musical Billy Elliot on Broadway. He also opened the show's Chicago Tour. Now, he is an "in-demand" guest artist.

While he resides in town, he takes Ballet and Modern/Contemporary classes at Paris Ballet and Dance. He goes off to Cleveland to college to major in Dance and minor in Film. ...More about Tommy

​​Makayla  Bumgardner is a graduate from William T. Dwyer High School and has been dancing for 14 years. She previously trained with Joan Miller of Palm Beach Ballet Center. Four years ago, she joined Paris Ballet and Dance.
Makayla will be attending Florida State University in the Fall, majoring in Physics.




Lauren Dillon graduated from William T. Dwyer High School and has been dancing for 14 years. She joined Paris Ballet and Dance three years ago after training under Joan Miller at Palm Beach Ballet Center.
Lauren will be attending Florida State University and will be majoring in Neuropsychology, with a minor in Dance.




Nicholas Garlo Now with Ballet Quad Cities located in Rock Island, Illinois. The well-established American company was founded 1996 doing five major productions a year. Ballet Quad Cities is the longest-running resident professional ballet company in the entire state of Iowa and western Illinois. It is one of only 100 in the nation.

He began his dance training at Bak Middle School of the Arts continued his serious training at Paris Ballet and dance, and is a graduate from Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a Dance Arts Major. There, he had the privilege of working with known choreographers such as Troy Powell and Margo Sappington and was a member of National Dance Honor Society.

Nick also participated in the International Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive for two consecutive summers receiving a full tuition scholarship both summers. He was offered a position in their trainee program. In 2012, he attended the Juilliard Summer Camp a on partial scholarship.

Utilizing his great dance education, he was accepted into the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College in New York. There, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Minor in Arts Management. In May of 2017, he graduated, Cum Laude with the ​Bert Terborgh Award.

Nicholas also studied at numerous summer intensives such as Springboard Danse Montreal, Jacob’s Pillow the Contemporary Program, The Netherlands Dance Theater Intensive, Launch with Northwest Dance Project, Arts Umbrella, the Movement Invention Project, and Joffrey Chicago. He also received the chance to study abroad in Taiwan for five months, where he continued to study and research classical ballet, modern, contemporary, and eastern influenced techniques such as Chinese Opera Kung Fu.

This past summer, Nicholas had the opportunity ​to go to Berlin where he rehearsed and later performed Dust choreographed by Roderick George at the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel-Aviv, Israel. These performances opened the dance festival in Tel-Aviv. 

Besides being extremely talented, Nicholas always worked very hard with drive, focus, desire and a true passion for dance. When given instruction and corrections, he understood while applying them immediately. He was a model as to what a dance student should be, and
a joy to have in the school. 

​Director Jean-Hugues Feray and the staff of Paris Ballet and Dance are very proud of Nick, and his many wonderful accomplishments. His future is bright as a professional dancer!​​
