POLICIES: PROPER ATTIRE

PROPER ATTIRE
CREATIVE MOVEMENT CLASSES
Female students must wear a pink leotard, pink footed ballet tights, and pink ballet slippers.
Maale students must wear a white t-shirt, black tights, white socks and black ballet slippers. 

BALLET CLASSES: PRE-ACADEMY, ACADEMY LEVELS AND COMPANY/ADVANCED PROGRAM

Female students must have hair in a neat bun and secured with gel or spray.
Female students must wear pink footed ballet tights, pink ballet shoes or pointe shoes if applicable and a black leotard. Ballet tights MUST cover the feet, not rolled up.
Male students in Pre-Academy: Black shorts, black ballet shoes with white socks and a white fitted t-shirt.
Male students in Academy 2 and Up: Gray footed ballet tights, gray ballet shoes, proper dance belt, a white fitted t-shirt.
Other rules of ballet etiquette will be taught in class.

CONTEMPORARY / JAZZ / TAP/ MODERN
Female students must wear a leotard (any color)
Male students a t-shirt.
All students must wear tights or black jazz pants and appropriate black tap or Jazz shoes. Modern may be barefoot. 


ALL STUDENTS ABSOLUTELY MUST WEAR A -- COMPLETE COVER-UP -- WHEN ENTERING AND LEAVING THE BUILDING!
Students will always be presentable and “professional” looking AND acting, both when entering and leaving the studio and/or theatre.
Students (no matter of age or size), are not allowed to walk around in public (outside of the studio and theatre) dressed only in leotards and tights! Students in ALL levels are to enter and leave the building in a COMPLETE COVER-UP.
A COMPLETE COVER - UP FOR GIRLS: A full dress, full skirt (slacks or shorts), blouse and street shoes.
A COMPLETE COVER - UP FOR BOYS: Slacks (or shorts) and shirt and street shoes.
A complete cover-up is NEVER just “booty” shorts or, over sized shirt and/or skirt pulled over a leotard and tights.
